Stamina Preservation: Accumulate stamina items to farm the new world map aggressively on day one.

  • Initial Resource Management

The first 24-48 hours are critical. Use these tactics to jumpstart your Mushroom economy.

1. Radar Missions

Stack as many radar missions as possible before the server reset. Claim them only after S6 is active to ensure the rewards include seasonal resources.

2. Doom Walker Strategy

Do not kill Doom Walkers immediately before the season starts. Waiting until S6 is live allows you to kill one and claim the daily reward of 200k Mushrooms right away.

3. Investment Strategy $$$ (SPENDERS) $$$

If you are purchasing Mushroom packs, buy them early. The price escalates with each purchase, but the early advantage in workshop levels is compounded throughout the season.

  • Building and Infrastructure

The Spore Workshop is your primary engine for growth. Understanding the math behind its leveling is essential.

Day1 survivor guide

If you dont have mushroom skin, you can get one on glittering market or exchange gifts (crown, car, rocket) to buy it from coupon store.

Try to get this deco to highest possible lvl.

Sequential vs. Balanced: It is more efficient to upgrade one Spore Workshop to level 15 to unlock the next one rather than leveling all simultaneously from the start. Once 4–5 workshops are unlocked, switch to balanced leveling.

  • Profession and Skill Tree

The Engineer profession is the optimal choice for the "rush" phase of the season.

  • Focus skills on construction and research cost reduction.

  • Key skill nodes are located at levels 10, 15, 30, 35, and 95.

  • Ensure skills are off-cooldown before initiating major upgrades to seasonal buildings.

  • Advanced Strategic Tips

Understanding mechanics like "Rally Resistance" and map changes can save your alliance significant resources.

Rally Resistance: Only the rally leader's Virus Resistance matters when attacking Doom Elites. High-resistance players can carry allies to ensure everyone gets the "First Kill" rewards.

  • Tactics Cards

Tactics cards return in Season 6, but it does not include the 4+1 card this time. Instead, there will be a card for each troop type with a specific buff. Read more about this in the Season 6 Tactics Card Guide.

  • Hero Recruitment - Exclusive Weapon Shards

Season 6 adds Exclusive Weapon Shards to the regular hero recruitment in the tavern. This includes Exclusive Weapon Shards for Kim, DVA, and Tesla. Since these are available with regular Hero Recruitment Tickets, we recommend to start saving them up as soon as you can to use them during the season!

  • Getting high resistance

Kill swamp/forest zombies to get rainforest mushroom - but be careful and check type of the zombies!

Kill doom walker once a day to get 200k fo mushrooms,

Use Legend Return Tickets to get some mushrooms as well.

For spenders!

Buy weekly pass to get additional 250 resistance

Buy season pass to get a lot of season resources

Buy rainforest mushroom packs to speed up upgrades

15. Seasonal Rewards

Make sure to check the Season screen for seasonal rewards based on available tasks. The War Merit Tier progression covers Warzone-wide weekly rewards as well as individual ones based on your accumulated War Merit. Both will include Seasonal Resources in their rewards to give you that extra push.

14. Like Enchanted Fungus Bases for Mushroom Gifts

As with every season, one of the base skins will provide you with small rewards for liking them. In Season 6 this is the Enchanted Fungus Skin and each base you like will reward you with a Mushroom Gift (maximum 1 per base per commander). This is also the base skin that provides a Hero Attack +5% buff when held in Stock Attributes - so it's worth tracking down and liking as many as you can find.

13. Prepare Braz for his UR Promotion

A key Week 2-3 event is the SSR to UR promotion for Braz (Missile Hero). To be ready for this the moment the promotion window opens in Week 3, you should get Braz to 5 Stars as early as possible - ideally during Week 2. Starting from Week 2, keep an eye on the Braz UR Promotion guide for the full details.

12. Beneath the Ruins Minigame

Starting day 2 of week 1 of the season, you'll get access to the Beneath the Ruins Minigame. A new level unlocks each day, and one of the rewards for completing it is the Rainforest Mushrooms seasonal resource. Later levels will provide you with even more Rainforest Mushrooms, so make sure to keep up with them!

11. War Merit Shop

When you unlock the War Merit Shop (after reaching Fungus Institute level 4), you are able to use your War Merit to purchase additional items and resources. The two highest priority daily purchases are:

  • Rainforest Mushroom x10K - 100 War Merit each, up to 80 per day. This is the single best regular purchase in the shop.

  • Bait - 200 War Merit each, up to 10 per day. Keeps your fishing sessions running without burning through your personal Bait supply.

From Week 2 onwards, the shop also adds 10k Spore at 100 War Merit each (up to 280 per week), making it a strong secondary Spore source once you have your daily Mushroom purchases covered.

Keep in mind that spending War Merit does not affect your leaderboard total - your ranking position is never at risk no matter how much you buy. For a full breakdown of every item, unlock schedule, and purchase priorities, see our War Merit Shop Guide.

10. Level up Spore Factories to lv 10 to Unlock Additional Ones

To make the most of your Spore Factories, follow this optimal upgrade path:

  • Level each Spore Factory to level 10 before working on the next one - this unlocks the next Spore Factory

  • Once all Spore Factories are unlocked, level them equally - bring them all to the same level one at a time

This approach means you unlock all factories as quickly as possible, then upgrade them in lockstep to maintain the cheapest upgrade path (every level increases production by the same amount, so spreading upgrades evenly gives you diminishing returns on individual factories rather than one far ahead of the others).

9. Level Up the Fungus Institute

Your Fungus Institute will dictate your Virus Resistance, which in turn allows you to beat higher level Zombies and Doom Elites (as well as other enemies). It's therefore important to gain levels as quickly as possible to stay ahead of the others. To upgrade your Fungus Institute you will need Spore, which is generated by your Spore Factories.

Importantly, your Fungus Institute must reach level 4 before the War Merit Shop becomes available. This shop is one of the most valuable resources for the season - unlocking it early gives you access to daily Rainforest Mushrooms and Bait purchases, so push to level 4 as your first Fungus Institute priority.

8. Use your Stored Hero's Return Recruitment Tickets

Now's the time to use that stash of Hero's Return Recruitment Tickets that you hopefully saved from the previous season. The "S6 Legend Returns" tab in the hero recruitment section has a chance of giving you Rainforest Mushrooms as rewards, so use these on day 1 when the resource requirements are low to push even further!

After the first week you should start saving up these tickets again for the next season as their values will diminish quickly due to the jumps in resource requirements for later upgrades. This will allow you to get the same headstart next season!

7. Buy the Weekly Pass for an Additional Spore Factory

For (small) spenders it's very helpful to purchase the Weekly Pass to get an additional Spore Factory. This will allow you to increase your Spore production to stay ahead with your Fungus Institute upgrades to increase your Virus Resistance quickly!

This pass is worth 500 gold bricks

6. Buy the Season Pass for Additional Rewards

The Season Pass will give you additional seasonal rewards. Depending on your spending you can choose to go with the cheaper or more expensive version. Of course the more expensive one will give you more rewards, but both will allow you to claim Season Pass objectives twice for a boost in progress throughout the pass!

The 11,99€ pack is worth 1000 gold bricks

The 23,99€ pack is worth 2000 gold bricks

5. Zombie / Doom Elite first kill rewards

Every Zombie and Doom Elite will award you with first kill rewards. Try and beat the highest levels you can as soon as possible to make the most progression.

For Doom Elites you will want to have strong rallies to beat the Doom Elite when working with insufficient Virus Resistance.

4. Get your Doom Walker first kill reward

Make sure to save your Doom Walker first kill until after the season starts! The season does not start right after reset, so make sure to wait until you got the season update to not miss out on this.

Every Doom Walker gives the same seasonal resources in Season 6, meaning you get 200k Rainforest Mushrooms for any Doom Walker first kill! This will help you get through a lot of the early seasonal building upgrades.

3. Say Hi to your Visitor

Every day there will be a Visitor at your base from the clan you were assigned to. He or she will bring you Bait (10) for Fishing, as well as 200k Rainforest Mushrooms! Don't forget to check in daily to grab this freebie.

2. Prepare Season Buildings

Keep in mind that seasonal buildings will require builders, so keep one available! The first couple of building levels you can do for free using the diamonds option (0 diamonds), but soon enough they will require more time and a builder will be necessary.

1. Redo your profession skills

Use a token to reset your profession skills and focus on:

  • Changing to Engineer to make use of the resource reduction for buildings (this applies to the seasonal buildings as well!)

  • Put points towards the Seasonal skills (on the right side), e.g. Building Inspiration to get additional Profession EXP when upgrading seasonal buildings
